About Us
Meet Greg & Christine Meyer
Both born and raised on Cape Cod, Greg and Christine have been married for 13 years and have a son together. Greg has a degree in Landscape Contracting, and Christine, a Master’s in Business Administration. Combining their skills, they started their landscaping business, Meyer Landscapes, in 2010, and have established trusted relationships with their customers and within their community over the 14 years they have been business owners.
Being owners of two properties on Cape Cod themselves, Greg and Christine understand the commitment it takes to maintain both a residential home and an investment property year-round on the coast, let alone having to close one up season-after-season and hope that nothing happens while you are miles (or states) away.
Meet Jesse Abate
Jesse has been living and working on Cape Cod for over 20 years, and it's where he met his wife, Cate. A long-time employee of Meyer Landscapes, he works as their Irrigation Specialist and Operations Manager. Prior to working in Landscaping, Jesse worked for three years as a Class 3 Engineer at a resort, where he was trained in Home Watch services. In addition to that, he was a firefighter for 4 years in Texas. Over the years, Jesse has worked closely with plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians; expanding his skills and knowledge in home maintenance and safety.
In the Winter months, when Landscaping is shut down, he has run his own Home Watch business to maintain his skills in the industry. It was Jesse's background and recognition for the need, that pushed the Meyers to start Meyer Home Watch and offer these services to their current customers.
