We are in the preliminary stages of becoming fully licensed, insured, and accredited home watch professionals, dedicated to making sure your investment is protected while you aren't there.
As an accredited member of the National Home Watch Association (NHWA), we will be required to receive annual background checks, and to maintain current licensing and insurance, guaranteeing you that a qualified professional will be in charge of watching your property.
When you hire Meyer Home Watch, you are getting the absolute best in service, quality, and protection.
Keeping a presence around the property while it's unoccupied assists in discouraging squatters, vandalism, or other criminal acts.
Having someone you can trust stop by before or after a storm will drastically minimize unknown damage from storms that are left to sit for months.
Slow leaks in a home can remain undetected for months. By the time you arrive back to your property, a small leak can lead to entire rooms being damaged, and a large repair bill to boot. Having someone check your home consistently while you’re gone will not only give you peace of mind, but allow you to stay ahead of the damage before it becomes a much bigger problem.
Setting up contractors to provide services while you’re not home can be convenient, but it can also be risky. Some contractors can use this opportunity to bill you for services that were never done because you have no way of proving they were actually there…until now. Our home watch team members can meet contractors at your house at a scheduled time to help ensure the work is done. We can also provide picture evidence of the completed work (by request).
Winter is the most common time of the year that Cape Cod homes are unoccupied. It’s also the most common time of the year that mice like to find a warm place to go. When mice enter your home undetected, they can cause significant damage. Chewing on wires, eating through insulation, and creating tunnels from the outside that can invite further unwanted guests. Our home watch team can walk the exterior and interior perimeters to check for any activity.
